If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make anglobal air travel appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. If the vaccinations are available, they may be given during this first appointment.

Some vaccines may have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine or you may need more than one appointment to complete a course of vaccination. Your last appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.  Please allow plenty of time before your departure.

We are a registered Yellow Fever Centre.

In some cases, the full cost of the course of immunisations has to be borne by the patient. In others, the patient pays for the cost of the prescription only. The Practice Nurses will be able to advise you about what you need and whether or not there is a charge.
